The 2008 Stars and Stripes "Your View" calendar features images of life in Iraq and Afghanistan submitted by readers stationed downrange. These images reveal in isolated moments what some of our U.S. service men and women have experienced during their tours of duty.

Measuring 11" wide and 8.5" high, the calendar opens up to reveal one photograph and a calendar page for each month. All of these unique images were taken by readers as an extension of a feature called "Your View" that runs in the Mideast edition of our daily newspaper.
